Our gymnastics program is designed to develop physical fitness while encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. Gymnastics provides a solid foundation for all sports as it promotes development of gross & fine motor skills, strength, flexibility & body awareness. Not only do gymnasts (develop) physical fitness, they also build confidence, learn how to deal with fear & effectively overcome obstacles.

Gymnasts develop confidence & strength that can easily transition into any sport or maintain a steady progression through gymnastics levels.

Whether you want to learn or compete, the Watertown Family YMCA has a broad spectrum of gymnastics classes. Swing on our bars, jump in the foam pit, and balance on the beam with our highly trained and enthusiastic instructors!
