Summer Box Lacrosse League

What is Box Lacrosse?
Box lacrosse is an indoor version of lacrosse that features more contact and shares similarities with ice hockey.

Unity Lacrosse Club will be hosting a Summer Box Lacrosse League at the Watertown Fairgrounds YMCA.  This will be true Box Lacrosse governed by modified USBOX Lacrosse Rules including:

  • 5 runners, 1 goalie
  • 4x4 goals
  • 3 - 15-minute periods
  • Short sticks only
  • Full pads required (helmet, gloves, 2022 NOCSAE certified shoulder pads, elbow pads, protective cup)

14U Division: 4 or 5p game
18U Division: 6 or 7p game


The league will provide a full set of Box Lacrosse Goalie equipment to each goalie to include shin pads, pants, uppers, box gloves, box goalie stick, throat protector and jersey.  Equipment will be turned in at the end of each game.

Goalie must supply their own helmet and jock strap with protective cup.
