This engaging ceramics program that let’s students dive deeper into the fundamentals of wheel throwing while expanding their skills through more advanced techniques like how to center clay, pull walls, and shape forms to create both functional and decorative pieces.
Emphasis will be placed on form, balance, and surface design as students refine their craftsmanship on the wheel and explore trimming, carving, texture, & glazing techniques to enhance and finish their work.
Projects will be glazed and fired in a kiln and taken home at the end of the 6-week session.
