UPDATE:
Masking for Members, Program Participants
Masking is no longer required for vaccinated members, spectators, and program participants.
Unvaccinated individuals continue to be responsible for wearing masks.
We encourage anyone who is uncomfortable being around other unmasked individuals under this new guidance to continue to wear masks even if fully vaccinated.
YMCA Staff will remain masked as required by the NYS Heroes Act until at least February 15. The only exceptions are for Lifeguards while in the chair and Group Exercise Instructors while teaching with a safe social distance.
YMCA Childcare Facilities and School Aged Child Care will remain masked and continue to follow guidelines in place for those programs.
We ask that all members, participants, and spectators demonstrate the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility toward each other and our dedicated staff team. We will continue to revisit this as the guidance continues to change and hope for a time, in the near future, when all requirements will be lifted. We can't wait to see those smiling faces.
