CARDIO AND WEIGHT AREA

We’re excited to welcome you back to the Y! We will have a staged approach to reopening, which will allow us to keep our equipment areas clean and safe. Children ages 9-14 can workout with a parent or guardian at the all locations at this time. No outside guests are permitted during Stage 3 but we do have short term membership available. All members will need to sign a new waiver and Covid commitment. This waiver can be completed before you return to the gym by going HERE

Monday/Wednesday/Friday:7am-11am

Tuesday/Thursday: 4pm-7pm    

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

  • Please bring a face covering to wear, a workout towel, and a water bottle. Water fountains will not be available but we do have a bottle refilling station.
  • Acceptable face coverings are required at all times above your nose. Acceptable face coverings include cloth face masks, surgical masks, and N95 respirators.  
         NOTE: Bandanas, buffs, shields, and gaiters are not acceptable face coverings for use in gyms and fitness centers and cannot be allowed. 
  • We will not be able to keep your keys or belongings at the Welcome Center. Rental lockers will be available. *UPDATE: DAY USE LOCKERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!*

WHAT WILL BE AVAILABLE?

TO ENSURE ALL MEMBERS ARE ABLE TO ENJOY THE EQUIPMENT, WE MAY LIMIT THE TIME IF NECESSARY. 
  • Wellness floor and equipment
  • Weight room and equipment
  • Up to 6 members can reserve a Basketball Court or the fields.
  • The facilities and lap pool are open to ages 9 and up. Members 9-14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must stay together in the cardio & weight area at all YMCA facilities. Members 15-17 are able to work out on their own in any YMCA facility.

Childwatch 

We are excited to reopen our Childwatch Center for members with a Family or Single Parent Membership with children ages 6 weeks-12 years. 

Downtown & Fairgrounds will be offering limited hours during the morning and evening. A reservation will be required to attend. Visit our NEW App, website (under programs), or call our Welcome Center 315-755-9622/315-782-3100 to reserve your spot.

Youth Lap Swim:

Ages 9-14 with a parent or 15-17: Hours will be available mid morning and evenings. A 48 hour reservation will be required. Please visit our website or call the welcome center to book your lap swim time.

WHICH AREAS ARE CLOSED?

  • Sauna
  • Carthage Showers are not open at this time. Showers are available at other facilities
  • Towel service
  • Water fountains (refillable station for water bottles available) 
  • No coffee service
  • No communal seating area
  • Guest will not be permitted at this time but we do short term memberships
  • Basement level (downtown)

REDUCED CAPACITY

Our facility is lowering its occupancy rate. At times of full capacity, you will be asked to wait in a designated area until space is available. To ensure all members can enjoy the equipment, we will limit the time if necessary. 

KEEP THE KIDS AT HOME

Space inside the facility is limited to 33% capacity. Children and youth ages 9-15 must be with a parent or adult guardian in the cardio or weight area. 

WIPE DOWN EQUIPMENT

Use the cleaning materials provided. Wipe down all equipment before and after your workout.

HEALTH SCREENING
