Engage. Enrich. Empower.

Watertown Family YMCA
Ages 12-18

Army Youth Programming in Your Neighborhood (AYPYN) provides high-quality, engaging afterschool experiences for Army-connected youth living in our community.  Through strong partnerships with local schools and community organizations, AYPYN offers meaningful, hands-on opportunities that support academic success, build life and leadership skills, and promote health and wellness.

From STEAM learning and mentoring to recreation and enrichment activities, AYPYN creates a welcoming space where youth can grow, stay active, and feel connected all while families and communities are strengthened along the way.

How AYPYN Fulfills Its Slogan

Engage: Provides structured before and after-school environments where children can decompress and connect with peers and caring adults.
Enrich: Supports academic success, career readiness, and social-emotional growth through STEM initiatives, art, and life skills.
Empower: Builds resilience and protective factors to help military-connected youth easily adapt to relocation, stress, and transitions.
