The following Aquatic Exercise classes are included with your YMCA Membership. No registration required!
  • Aqua Dance: Take off your dancing shoes, you're in the pool! Aqua Dance is a high-energy, low-impact workout in the pool that incorporates easy-to-follow dance moves.
  • Aqua Tabata: A high-intensity, interval exercise program designed in intervals of 20 seconds of high-intensity aerobic exercise followed by 10-second rest intervals.
  • Arthritic Aquatfit: This moderate water exercise program is designed specifically for arthritis sufferers in a heated pool. Participants work on a range of motion, muscle strengthening, and endurance-building exercises.
  • Forever Fit: A moderate water exercise program for seniors. Designed to increase muscle tone, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. Swimming ability is not required.
  • Water Aerobics: This high intensity, low-impact aerobics class provides a cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels.
  • Swim Social: An opportunity for seniors to enjoy our rec pool for a casual swim or workout. Members 18 and over welcome.
  • Open Swim: The pool is available for members who wish to just relax and enjoy our pool. It is a great time to work out independently or have family time to play together in the pool. Anyone under the age of 18 is required to pass a swim test or wear a life jacket provided by the Y.
  • Interval Water Walking: Class provides a variety of intensity for all abilities. Includes a brisk lane and leisure lane in addition to a variety of cardio and strength exercises. You care sure to burn some calories, get your steps in, and find your Y.
  • Aqua Core 7 More: Low-impact class for all fitness levels focusing core muscles, not just abs. Core muscles are important for flexibility and balance, creating a strong frame for your body that will help prepare you for activities in your daily life. 
  • Aqua HITT: Low-impact, high intensity class designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees and back.
  • Aqua Meditation:Class is designed to relax, stretch and calm. This class will take place in our warm water activity pool and will focus on being present with yourself, improving your mindfulness, and relaxing the mind.
